Welcome to the vibrant world of Fredcel Lumpias & Catering, a cozy Filipino haven nestled at 3876 38th St, San Diego, CA 92105, United States. Known for its mouthwatering dishes and a welcoming atmosphere, this restaurant is more than just a dining spot; it’s a celebration of Filipino culinary heritage. With a focus on homemade meals, Fredcel aims to bring the authentic flavors of the Philippines right to your table.

One of the crowning jewels of their menu is the lumpia, a delicately fried spring roll that has captivated many food lovers. Customers rave about its taste, often describing it as the best they’ve had. A standout experience shared by one satisfied patron mentioned how they ordered a staggering 100 pieces for a work event, and the rave reviews from their colleagues were immediate - a testament to how this dish truly shines.

The pancit is another showstopper at Fredcel, with numerous diners declaring it the best they've had since their travels in the Philippines. As one enthusiastic reviewer put it, “you get a lot of food for a good price!” This speaks volumes about the generous portions and affordability that Fredcel offers without compromising on quality.

Beyond the lumpia and pancit, the menu features a great selection of Filipino favorites, including chicken adobo, each prepared with love and skill. The atmosphere may be simple—focused entirely on the food—yet the service is quick and friendly, ensuring a pleasant dining experience for all. However, it’s good to note that Fredcel operates on a cash-only basis, so plan accordingly for your visit.

Fredcel Lumpias & Catering not only satisfies cravings for authentic Filipino cuisine but also serves a dual purpose as a convenient local shop. So whether you want a quick bite or need to cater an event, they have you covered. Be prepared to contend with some lines, as the popularity of their dishes means early birds often get the best pick! Trust me; you wouldn't want to miss out on their homemade delights.

So, if you find yourself in San Diego and are yearning for an authentic taste of the Philippines, make your way to Fredcel Lumpias & Catering. Each bite feels like a delightful journey to the tropics, and I assure you, you won’t be disappointed.

Lumpia was very tasty. Will be going back whenever I crave lumpia ! Great prices. Ordered 100 pcs at 75 for a work event and everyone asked me where I got it from! It is hard to reach them through phone, so I would recommend going a day or two in advance to place a big order.

We've wanted to try this food for months and kept missing. Finally got in while they were open and it's hands down the best pancit, lumpia, chicken adobo I've had since the Philippines! We'll absolutely be back - often! Service is very quick, friendly, and efficient. They don't waste time on atmosphere, go there for the food!

As a loyal Family Dollar customer, I would often wonder about this bright yellow neighboring restaurant that I found myself frequently parking in front of. It wasn’t until yesterday that I noticed a small line inside the establishment — I finally told myself, today is the day I’m going in there and finding out what this place is all about. I soon realized, this owner-operated establishment serves two purposes, convenience store and restaurant. Today my friends, I will tell you about the delicious Filipino cuisine I found myself wholeheartedly enjoying. But first, it is important to mention that this place is CASH ONLY! Menu: A good selection of popular Filipino foods (QTY 6) and side options (QTY 3) that offers a la carte and combo options. You can also order 3 different tray sizes for catering. What I ordered: Combo 2 with 2 side - Main dish #1: Chichen adobo - Main dish #2: Beef lumpia - Side #1: Fried rice - Side #2: Pancit Cost: 9.50. With tax it came to 9.99. Review: Delicious. 10 outta 10 will order again. The star of the show: BEEF LUMPIA. It came with a side of sweet & sour sauce. It is to my understanding, the Lumpia’s are what they are known for. You can order the Lumpia’s fresh, or frozen! What I would like to try next: Pork bicol express If you are like me and you are open to trying out a variety of cuisines and enjoy supporting local business, definitely give this place a try

I love Fredcels and wish that I would have learned about them sooner. Someone gave me a recommendation on getting lumpia for a party and after finding them, how can I go anywhere else? They do close early and you have to tell them the day before that you want an order or you will have to wait a little bit. Once they’re sold out they’re sold out. Then your party won’t get to experience the deliciousness of Fredcels.
